Rocks Boxing Foundation Mission
The mission of the Rocks Boxing Foundation is to create an amateur boxing team and training opportunities that are inclusive, accessible to all socioeconomic statuses with the focus on developing a love of the sport of boxing in a safe, professionally coached environment that we hope will last a lifetime.
Scholarships
We don’t want anyone to feel like they can’t participate and experience the benefits of boxing because of financial hardship. Through our scholarship program, kids and adults can apply for partial financial assistance. Scholarships are worth up to $30/month for 6 months with the option to renew after 6 months. In order to receive a scholarship, applicants must complete a form and write a short essay or 500 words or less explaining what they hope boxing/Rocks Boxing can do for them in the short term and in their future. To renew the scholarship at 6 months, those wanting to renew scholarships will write another short essay about what Rocks has given them and their next goals. While on scholarship, participants must maintain good standing at school, at home, in the community and at the studio. If the participant fails a class at school, their scholarship could be revoked for a month.

Sponsorships/Donations
In order to be able to provide a space, scholarships, salaried coaching staff and assistance with transportation costs to out-of-town sparring events, The Rocks Boxing Foundation not only relies on membership dues of its participants, but on sponsorships and donations from the community. The Rocks Boxing Foundation is a federally recognized 501(c)3 organization to the extent allowable by law. RBF’s tax ID # is: 93-3562763.
